英语求职信的写作组成及分析介绍

（1）介绍消息来源、表明求职心愿

介绍消息来源实际上是求职信的开篇交代句，它可使求职信显得自然、顺畅;否则会使收信人感到意外、突然，文章也缺乏过渡与照应。介绍完消息来源后，应向收信人表明自己的求职心愿，即写信的目的。例如:

I learned from the newspaper that your company wanted to hire a...I’m interested in this job very much.I’d like to try this job.

I saw from your website the other day that you are looking for a...I am very interested in the position，and I’m trying to apply for it.

In reply to your advertisement in today’s...（newspaper）for a...，I hasten to write this letter of application for the post.

I wish to apply for the position of cashier advertised in today’s China Daily.

（2）介绍个人简历

某单位需要新人，求职人也有求职心愿，但这并不意味着这项工作非你莫属。如果你没有干好这项工作的经历、实力，也是难以适应的。因此，介绍个人简历不仅必不可少，也是至关重要的。例如:

Now I’d like to introduce myself to you.My name is....I’m...years old.I graduated from Beijing University in 1994.Then，I went to work in...

In 1996，I began to serve Simons as a translator and I have worked there until now.

I am enclosing my personal history which I believe will show you why I feel I can meet the requirements of a cashier in your company.Here，I just give you a brief introduction.As a finance major，besides the main courses I master，I also have a 5 months’intership in....In addition，I’m learning to be team player and to communicate effectively with people from diverse background.

（3）摆出求职优势

求职时除了表明自己具有一定的工作经历之外，为了稳操胜券，往往还要自信地摆出自己的优势和特长。例如:

I work hard and I can get along well with others.I’m good at English and especially spoken English.I’ve translated many Chinese books into English.I can talk to foreigners in Japanese freely as well.

Enclosed is my detailed resume and the related certificates I got.I believe that my ability and experience will fully qualify me for the position of...

I am sending you a summary of my qualifications.You will see that I have had several years’experience in this field.

（4）提出获职打算

丰富的工作经验，一定的优势和特长，只能代表过去和现在的情况。用人单位更加看重的是获职以后的工作态度和工作业绩。显然表明获职后努力工作的决心或是工作开展的一些计划是获得用人单位的认可从而顺利谋得此项工作的重要一环。例如:

If you agree with me，I’ll work hard and try to be a fully qualified translator.

If I am luckily enough to be given a chance，I will definitely not let you down.

I’m doing a research which aims to innovate this field.Have you an opening in your company for a young man who believes that he has something to offer？

(5)请求答复

该部分要礼貌地表明期盼对方早日回复的心情，以便你及时做好准备，到用人单位应聘或报到。准确起见，请求答复时还应提供个人的电话号码、电子信箱、通讯地址、邮政编码等详细联系方式。例如:

It will be much obliged/appreciated if you can give me a reply at your earliest convenience，so that I can make a good preparation.

If there is any additional information you require，please contact me at 18810365671 at any time，and my address is No.1 Renmin Road，Suzhou city.

I would welcome an opportunity to meet with you for a personal interview.Look forward to your early reply.

无论你的请求是否能够得到满意的答复，对方也已花费一定的时间和精力浏览你的求职信了，因此应礼貌地向对方表明感激之情。本文的结尾可这样来写:

I would appreciate your time and patience in reviewing my resume.Thank you for your consideration！
