B 语法聚焦1: 直接引语和间接引语的用法

引述或转述别人的话时，一般采用两种形式：

第一种是直接引用别人的原话，并用引号标出，叫作直接引语；

第二种是用自己的话转述别人的话，不使用引号，叫作间接引语。

间接引语通常是由过去时态的动词引导的，因此直接引语变成间接引语时，句中的时态要做出相应的变化，从现在时改为过去时。

练习1　将下列直接引语转变成间接引语，注意时态的变化。

1 Susan said, "I want to go to Beijing."

Susan said that she _____________________ to go to Beijing.

2 They told me, "We are watching TV."

They told me that they _____________________TV.

3 Dad said, "I am reading a newspaper."

Dad said that he _____________________ a newspaper.

C 语法聚焦2: 直接引语变成间接引语时人称代词及动词的变化

直接引语和间接引语相互转换时人称代词可以遵循一主二宾三不变的原则：

① 一主：如果直接引语中的人称为第一人称,变为间接引语时，就要将它变为与主

句主语相一致的人称；

② 二宾：如果直接引语中的人称为第二人称,变为间接引语时，就要将它变为与主

句宾语相一致的人称；

③ 三不变：如果直接引语中的人称为第三人称,变为间接引语时，就不做任何改变。

小贴士

直接引语变成间接引语时，根据句意某些动词也需要做出相应的变化:come→go, bring →take

例如: John said,"I will bring some gifts for you."

John said he would take some gifts to me.

练习2　将下列直接引语转变成间接引语，填入合适的人称代词。

直接引语变成间接引语时，时间状语也需要根据句意做出相应的变化。

直接引语变成间接引语时，根据句意指示代词也需要做出相应的变化：this→that, these→those

另外，地点状语也有变化：here→there
