一、头韵类
这类绕口令的特点是其中的单词多选用相同的辅音为首,如“A big black bug bites a big black bear.”这个绕口令就是以辅音/b/为主的,当中朗读效果急促,自然而然产生强烈的节奏感。而由How many cookies can a cook cook?改编而成的新内容“A good cook could cook good cookies as many as the good cook could cook.”则以辅音[k]为主,朗读过程有趣轻松,能让读者在多次诵读过程中掌握好相应的辅音。
二、押韵类
这类绕口令的特点是其中的单词结尾发音多选用相同的元音为主。如“A fat cat catches a fat rat.”这个绕口令就是以元音和辅音组合的/æt/结尾音为主,反复朗诵,易于掌握。
又如“A noise annoys an oyster,but a noisy noise annoys an oyster more!”这类绕口令,在教师以游戏过程中可以让儿童不知不觉多次地反复读诵/ɔɪ/这个复合元音,达到了学习的目的。
三、技巧类
这类绕口令的特点就是发音难度大,其中主要以难以区别的辅音或元音进行合理的组合,使绕口令的朗读具有一定的难度。如
