Design

The 3/2-way valve with pushbutton actuator,normally closed is assembled in a polymer housing.The unit is mounted on the profile plate via a quick release detent system with blue lever(mounting alternative“A”).

Function

The valve is actuated by pressing the pushbutton.Relea⁃sing of the pushbutton returns the valve to the normal po⁃sition via a return spring.

Note

The pressure regulator is fitted with an adjusting knob,which can be turned to set the required pressure.By sliding the adjusting knob towards the housing,the setting can be locked

The valve is actuated when the trip roller has been trav⁃ersed by a cylinder trip cam passing in the positive direc⁃tion.The valve is returned to the normal position via a re⁃turn spring after the trip roller has been released.The trip roller flips down when traversed in the opposite direction.

The piston rod of the single-acting cylinder moves into the forward end position through the supply of compressed air.When the compressed air is switched off,the piston is returned to the retracted end position via a return spring.

The magnetic field of a permanent magnet,which is atta⁃ched to the cylinder piston,actuates the proximity swit⁃ches.

The piston rod of the double-acting cylinder is reversed by means of alternating supply of compressed air.End position cushioning at both ends prevents a sudden impact of the piston on the cylinder housing.The end position cushioning can be adjusted by means of two regulating screws.

The magnetic field of a permanent magnet attached to the cyl⁃inder piston actuates the proximity switches.

Function

The double solenoid valve is reversed when voltage is applied to a solenoid coil and remains in this switching position after the signal is removed until an opposed signal is applied.The pres⁃ence of switching signals is shown by the LEDs in the terminal housings.The valve is equipped with a manual override.

Note

The solenoid coil is characterised by very low power consumption and low heat generation.The electrical connections incorporate protection against incorrect polarity for the LEDs and protective circuits.

The solenoid valve is actuated in one direction when voltage is applied to coil 14(1→4 and 2→3)and brought back to its closed initial position(1→0)by a return spring when the sig⁃nal is removed.When voltage is applied to the other coil 12,the valve is actuated in the other direction(4→5 and 1→2).The switching status is displayed via an LED in the terminal housing

Design

The proportional valve MPYE-5-1/8 is assembled on a base which incorporates the quick release detent system(mounting alternative“A”)suitable for profile-plate mounting.The valve is equipped with LCU push-in fittings and two silencers.The major internal components of a pro⁃portional directional control valve are:

A pneumatic 5/3-way valve of spool design,closed in its mid-position(1)

Function

The proportional directional control valve converts an ana⁃logue electrical input signal into appropriate cross-section o⁃penings to the outputs.At half the nominal voltage,i.e.5 V,the valve assumes its pneumatic mid-position,in which all control edges are closed,so that no air apart from minimal leakage passes through the valve.At 0 and 10 V respective⁃ly,the valve assumes one of its end positions,with maximum opening cross-section.

A plunger-armature drive acting directly on the pneumatic spool valve acts as an electromechanical transducer.An inte⁃grated electronic control for the valve-spool travel(subordi⁃nate position control loop)allows good static and dynamic characteristics to be obtained,which are reflected in the low hysteresis(below 0.3%),short actuating time(typically 5 ms)and high maximum frequency(approx 100 Hz).The valve is thus particularly suitable for use as a final control el⁃ement in conjunction with a higher-level position controller for the positioning of a pneumatic cylinder.

If the valve spool jams,for example due to dirt,the valve cover cap(6)can be removed and the valve spool freed by hand.

Electrical connection

The pin assignment of the housing socket and the colourcoding for the plugs of the cable are shown in the following table.

功能

The non-return valve blocks the flow of air in one direc⁃tion,whereby the air flows via the flow control valve.The throttle cross section is adjustable by means of a knurled screw.The setting can be fixed by means of a knurled nut.Two arrows indicate the direction of flow control on the housing.In the opposite direction,the air flow is unrestricted via the non-return valve.

The pressure regulator adjusts the compressed air supplied to the set operating pressure and compensates for pressure fluctuations.An arrow on the housing indicates the direction of flow.The filter bowl is fitted with a filter drain screw.The pressure gauge shows the preset pressure.The on/off valve exhausts the entire control.The 3/2-way valve is ac⁃tuated via the blue sliding sleeve

Note

When constructing a circuit,please ensure that the filter regulator is installed in the vertical position.The pressure regulator is fitted with an adjusting knob,which can be turned to set the required pressure.By sliding the adjusting knob towards the housing,the setting can be locked.

Function

The time delay valve is actuated by a pneumatic signal at port 12 after a preset time delay has elapsed.It is re⁃turned to the normal position via return spring when the signal is removed.The time delay is infinitely adjustable by means of a regulating screw.The time delay is reset automatically within 200 ms.

五、使用须知

①请严格按图示元件所占位置摆放;

②请按图示方向放置元件;

③请按图示理顺信号线;

④请按示范及资料介绍使用元件;

⑤分气块为单向阀接头,接气管时应插到底,否则不通气;

⑥勿用猛力拔接头,应一手按下气管接头蓝色护套,一手轻轻拉出气管,如遇阻碍,说明接头内防脱卡已刺入气管,强行拉出必损伤元件,此时宜先加力插管将倒刺退出,后轻拉气管,如不能拉出应报告老师

⑦电磁换向阀、传感器与信号线间的连接接头比较脆弱,已装好,勿拧动;

⑧气压正常工作压力为3~5 bar,不宜小或大;

⑨电气接线应由老师检查后通电;

⑩双电磁铁换向阀勿同时带电,以防烧毁线圈;

⑪气缸使用完毕后应收缩进缸体。

六、安装技术

实际操作过程中,元器件安装在Festo Didactic培训系统的铝合金底板上。铝合金底板共有14条间距50 mm的T型平行凹槽。

铝合金底板主要用于安装下列A~D四种不同类型的元器件:

A:卡座式安装系统,固定时无须使用其他元件。元件固定在卡座上,夹紧卡座两侧的手柄就可以在铝合金底板的T型槽内移动卡座,松开手柄则固定卡座。用于轻质、无负载的元器件。

B:旋转式安装系统,固定时无须使用其他元件。带有锁紧圆盘,通过旋紧元件底座上的螺帽和底座下面的T型螺钉来垂直或水平固定元件。用于较重、带负载的元器件。

C:螺钉固定式安装系统,固定时需使用其他元件。通过内六角螺钉和T型螺母垂直或水平固定元件。用于重型、带较重负载的元件或无须经常取下的元器件。

D:快插式安装系统,固定时需要接头。元件通过定位栓固定,可以沿着凹槽方向移动。用于轻质、无负载的元件。

电信号开关单元、电信号指示单元和继电器也可以安装在ER电器安装支架上。

使用A型卡座式安装系统时,卡座中有一滑片与铝合金底板的凹槽咬合,滑片通过弹簧拉紧。压下卡座的蓝色手柄,滑片缩回,可以在铝合金底板的凹槽中取出或安装元件。元器件在凹槽内移动并通过凹槽对齐。

使用B型旋转式安装系统时,通过旋紧元件底座上的蓝色螺帽和底座下面的T型螺钉固定元件。锁紧圆盘可以以90°的角度旋转来固定元器件,因此可以与凹槽平行或垂直安装元件。

当锁紧圆盘位于需要的位置时,元件放置在铝合金底板上,顺时针旋转锁紧螺帽,T型螺钉在铝合金底板凹槽中以90°旋转,继续旋转螺帽,则将元件固定。

C型螺钉固定式安装系统用于安装重型元件,或一旦固定就很少移动的元件。此时,使用内六角螺钉和T型螺母固定元件。

使用D型快插式安装系统时,ER单元可以插入到带定位栓的实验板上,并通过套管接头与铝合金实验板相连,每个定位栓都带有一个黑色塑料接头。T型槽上每隔50 mm要有一个接头,将接头旋转90°即可固定,然后ER单元的定位栓便可插入到接头的穿孔中。
