9.2.1 Classic style 经典风格
The classic style of clothing generally refers to the suit（Figure 9-2）. Such a suit derived from the 19 th century men's tuxedo, which was conservative, orthodox, formulaic, and had some consistently matching approaches. However, with the development of history and society, the style of tuxedo had been simplifed. A standard suit includes a tailored jacket, a shirt, pants and a tie. The suit colors are usually black or purplish blue. Men are used to wearing this style of suit on business or formal occasions.
经典风格的男装通常指西服套装（图9-2）。这种套装源自19世纪男士的塔式多礼服，它是保守的、正统的、程式化的，并有一些固定的搭配方式。然而随着历史和社会的发展，塔式多礼服被简化了。标准的西服套装包括外套、衬衫、裤子和领带，套装的颜色一般为黑色或藏蓝色。男士们习惯在商务或正式场合穿着这种套装。

9.2.2 Business style 商务风格
This type of clothing is a variation of the suit jacket, but it can be a little more casual, and has various styles. The collar of the jacket can be lapels or a stand collar; there are 3-5 buttons or a zipper closure on the placket, fap pockets or patch pockets on the front. In terms of color, warm colors can also be used, such as khaki or beige. This style of clothingis also suitable for wearing on offcial or business occasions.
这种类型的服装是正式西服的变化款，可以更休闲化，且有多种样式。上衣的领子可以是翻领或立领，前襟有3—5粒纽扣或拉链，前身有插袋或贴袋。在颜色方面，也可以使用暖色，如卡其或米色。这种风格的服装适用于公务或商务场合。
9.2.3 Casual style 休闲风格
Casual style clothing is worn during leisure time instead of working hours. Jackets, jeans, shirts and T-shirts are the main categories of this style. Stripes, checks, letters and figures are the frequently used decorative patterns of these garments（Figure 9-3）.
休闲风格的服装穿于闲暇时光而非工作时间。夹克、牛仔服、休闲衬衫和T恤是其主要的服装种类。条纹、方格、字母和数字是这些服装常用的装饰图案（图9-3）。

9.2.4 Sports style 运动风格(www.xing528.com)
Because clothing of sports style is worn comfortably and conveniently, it is popular among not only young people but also the elderly. With more and more young people being keen on outdoor sports, the outdoor sportswear also becomes popular, for example, sweatshirts, safari jackets and anoraks.
运动风格的服装穿着舒适方便，无论在年轻人还是老年人中都很流行。随着越来越多的年轻人热衷于户外运动，户外运动装也变得流行起来，如运动衫、猎装夹克和防风衣。
9.2.5 Chinese traditional style 中式风格

Men's clothing of Chinese traditional stylemainly refers to the Tang suit, or variations of the student uniform of the Republican period or the Sun Yat-sen uniform（Figure 9-4）. A mandarin collar is their common feature. This type of clothing is often decorated with some Chinese traditional patterns, such as a dragon, auspicious clouds and Chinese calligraphy. The Tang suit is also decorated with Chinese frogs and edge binding.
传统风格的男装主要包括唐装，或民国学生装、中山装的变化款（图9-4），立领是它们共同点。这类服装经常饰有中国的传统文化元素图案，如龙纹、祥云和书法。唐装还饰有盘扣和绲边。
9.2.6 Hip-hop style 嘻哈风格
Hip-hop is a subculture which originated from America. Its music and dance are very popular among young people. Hip-hop style clothing is characterized by a large T-shirt decorated with fancy patterns or doodles, and very loose jeans or harem pants; it is also matched with sneakers and a cap. These young people also like wearing hooded sweatshirts or casual shirts, and prefer to wear some weird accessories（Figure 9-5）.
嘻哈是源自于美国的亚文化。它的音乐和舞蹈在年轻人中非常流行。嘻哈风格的服装以饰有趣味图案或涂鸦的大T恤、非常宽松的牛仔裤或哈伦裤为特点，配有运动鞋和棒球帽。这些年轻人还喜欢穿连帽的运动衫或休闲衬衫，喜欢佩戴一些奇特的配饰（图9-5）。
