摘 要：中国传统文化的博大精深为设计师不断创新设计提供了创意源泉。本文论述了中国传统民族服装的内涵、织锦的种类、民族元素与礼服设计的融合以及民族元素在现代礼服设计中的运用。分析表明，将民族元素运用到现代服装设计中来，能设计出独具中国特色而不缺乏现代时尚元素的服装。将传统与现代相结合，能突显出独具中国传统文化气息而不缺乏时尚魅力的新风格。

Abstract：Chinese traditional culture，broad and profound，is widely used by designers to extract inspiration．In this paper，the meaning of traditional costumes，the classifications of brocade，integration of traditional element and dress design as well as the application of national element in modern dress design are presented．The analyzed results showed that national element can be applied to design unique Chinese clothing，filled with fashion element．The integration of traditional culture and modern clothing design concept can highlight Chinese culture and new style of clothing．
