Targeting biomedical materials, 3D printing, IVD reagents, major diagnosis and treatment equipment, and wearable medical devices, the bio-tow n is comm itted to im porting m ajor diagnosis and treatment equipment and breaking down technical barriers, w ith a view to securing market dom inance.
The bio-town has partnered w ith the National Engineering Research Center for Biomaterials（NERCB）, Sichuan University, led by Academ ician Zhang Xingdong, to build the Chengdu Biomedical M aterials Industrial Demonstration Park. At the end of 2020, Chengdu Tianfu International Biomedicine Engineering Industry Accelerator, Phase I at the bio-town off icially went into operation. The accelerator is primarily intended to cultivate biomaterials and medical device industries. Together w ith Chengdu Tianfu Bio-industry Incubation Park, the accelerator provides a full range of industry acceleration services covering pilot trials and production.
