这背后，就是信息网络的功劳。双流网络信息产业早在2010年就已经开始布局，启动建设了物联网技术为引领的物联网产业园。2016年，总投资约130亿元的中国电科（成都）网络信息安全产业园在双流开建，这是双流的第二个百亿项目，也是中国首个网络信息安全产业园。园区以国家网络安全战略为引领，大力发展网络信息安全、时频安全、电磁安防相关产业，集软件、硬件一体化。在已规划区域外，又设置了2平方公里开放式的平台，有意向的相关企业都可入驻。

双流还迎来了网络通信产业领域的国际领军企业——华为。华为在双流设立了成都华为物联网云创新中心，它依托华为在物联网管理平台、窄宽物联网等方面技术优势，通过物联网云平台面向区内延伸至西南范围内企业提供芯片、模组、云服务、解决方案支撑等技术服务，助力双流打造全国物联网产业高地。

2020年，成都电信—成都信息工程大学5G实验室、成都芯谷5G应用创新实验室在成都信息工程大学揭牌。为配合5G发展，双流已建设5G基站2000余个，2021年达到3000个。信息随心而至，万物触手可及，前所未有的交互体验，在双流区汇聚。

Shuang liu started to build an IoT industrial park led by IoT technology in 2010. In 2016, the construction of CETC（Chengdu） Cybersecurity Industrial Park, w ith a project cost of about 13 billion yuan, commenced in Shuangliu. The park, led by the national cybersecu rity strategy, is built to develop industries related to network and information security, time frequency security and electromagnetic security, involving both software and hardware. Outside the planned area, a 2-squarekilometer open platform has been established for interested companies to move in.

Chengdu Huawei IoT Cloud Innovation Center, backed by Huawei’s technical strengths in IoT m anagem ent p latfo rm s and narrow-band IoT（NB-IoT）, uses its IoT cloud platform to provide technical services, including chips, modules, cloud services and solutions, to com panies in Chengdu and the w ider southwestern China region.

In 2020, Chengdu Telecom–CUIT 5G Laboratory and CDICV 5G Application Innovation Laboratory were unveiled at Chengdu University of Information Technology（CUIT）. Tofacilitate the development of the 5G industry, Shuangliu has built more than 2,000 5G cell sites. This number w ill increase to 3,000 by the end of 2021.
