租赁飞机开展运营是国际通行发展趋势，越来越多的航空公司采用“自购＋融资租赁＋经营租赁”的形式进行资产配置。全球领先的航空公司80%飞机是以租赁形式引进。双流机场作为国内第四大航空枢纽，航空金融发展潜力巨大。
2018年，基于CAE7000XR新平台的ARJ21全动飞行模拟机就顺利入驻大飞机示范产业园，为飞机整机租赁的开展奠定了良好基础。2019年5月24日，一架崭新的空客A330—300客机飞地双流国际机场，机身尾部“双流壹号”字样十分醒目。全省首架保税融资租赁飞机成功交付，意味着全省飞机租赁产业在双流取得实质性突破，也拉开了四川自贸试验区发展航空租赁产业的序幕。
自双流壹号空客A330落地以来，双流坚持围绕航空产业链核心和价值链高端，强化与中航国际租赁、金石飞机租赁等航空金融领域龙头企业合作，推动全省第一架国产民机和全省第一架经营性租赁飞机ARJ21、全省第二架ARJ21飞机、空客A320neo飞机租赁等项目陆续落地，航空金融产业呈集聚发展态势。

Leasing aircraft for operation is a current international trend. More and more airlines have adopted a “purchase plus f inancial lease plus operating lease” approach to asset allocation. In world-leading airlines, about 80% of their aircraft are leased. Shuangliu Airport, the fourth-largest aviation hub in China, has enormous potential in aviation f inance.
On M ay 24, 2019, the Shuangliu No.1 Airbus aircraft, Sichuan’s first bonded lease aircraft, was delivered at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. It is a substantial breakthrough of Sichuan’s aircraft leasing industry.(https://www.xing528.com)
Since the delivery of Shuangliu No.1, the district has focused on the core part of the industry chain and the high end of the value chain by increasing its cooperation w ith leading companies in aviation f inance, including AVIC International Leasing and Jinshi Leasing, and effectively carrying out a range of projects including aircraft leasing. Shuangliu is seeing the clustering of the aviation f inance industry.
