航空检测、维修就好比是飞机的全科医生，是现代适航产业体系的重要组成部分，具有高技术含量、高附加值的特征。2017年，商务部正式批复同意四川国际在双流综保区内开展境内外飞机发动机保税维修业务，突破了现有制度屏障。2018年，四川国际航空发动机保税维修基地正式实现境内、境外首台航空发动机维修双向并举，顺利完成飞机发动机保税维修业务全流程，一举改变了境外航空发动机维修“香港一日游”的窘况。

Aviation testing and maintenance, like general practitioner（GP） services for aircraft, are an important part of modern airworthiness industrial system, w ith high technology content and high value-added. In 2017, the M inistry of Commerce approved Sichuan Services Aero-Engine Maintenance Com pany（SSAMC） to conduct engine bonded engine maintenance services for domestic and foreign aircraft w ithin the Shuangliu Com prehensive Bonded A rea, breaking down an institutional barrier. In 2018, the SSAMC Bonded Aero-Engine Maintenance Base pulled off the f irst domestic maintenance of a foreign aero-engine. The whole process of bonded aero-engine maintenance services was a great success. This move ended the awkward situation of “one-day tour in Hong Kong” for the maintenance of foreign aero-engines.

如今，双流已经成为亚洲规模最大的飞机发动机保税维修基地。聚集了北京飞机维修工程有限公司（Ameco）成都分公司、四川国际等航空维修企业近20家，落户中国民用航空飞行校验中心西南基地项目，建成机库7个，不仅具备航线维修、飞机定检、飞机大修、发动机大修、APU大修、客改货等维修能力，更形成了集整机维修、发动机维修、部附件维修、客改货为一体的航空维修产业链。

Today, Shuangliu has become the largest bonded aero-engine maintenance base in Asia. There is a cluster of about 20 aviation maintenance companies, seven hangars and the Flight Inspection Center of CAAC（Southwest China） project. The district has the MRO capacity for line maintenance, aircraft scheduled inspection, aircraft overhaul, engine overhaul, APU overhaul and passenger-to-freighter ( P2F ) conversion, among other services, form ing an aviation maintenance industry chain that covers the maintenance of aircraft, engine, parts and accessories, as well as P2F conversion.
