成都双流机场：跻身全球5000万级机场俱乐部

东经103°57′02″、北纬30°34′47″，机场飞行区等级4F级，中国八大区域枢纽机场之一，中国内陆地区航空枢纽和客货集散地。这就是位于中国四川双流，距离成都市区16公里的成都双流国际机场。

2018年12月11日，双流机场年旅客吞吐量突破5000万人次，成为我国内地继北京首都、上海浦东、广州白云之后第四个迈上5000万台阶的机场，标志着双流机场正式跻身全球“5000万级机场俱乐部”，成为中国第四大航空枢纽。2020年，成都双流机场旅客吞吐量、飞机起降架次实现逆势上升，跻身于全球最繁忙十大机场。

Located at 30°34 ′47 ″ N and 103°57 ′02 ″ E, 4F-class, and 16 kilometers away from downtown Chengdu, Chengdu Shuangliu International A irport is one of China’s eight regional hub airports, as well as an aviation hub and a cargo and passenger distribution center in China’s inland areas.

On December 11, 2018, Shuangliu Airport recorded an annual passenger throughput of 50 m illion, becom ing the fourth domestic airport to do sofollow ing Beijing Capital International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. This secured the airport’s position as the fourth largest airport hub in China.

Backed by the Pilot Airport FTZ, Shuangliu Aviation Economy Industrial Functional Zone prioritizes six aviation segments, i.e. aviation operation services, aviation manufacturing and maintenance, air logistics, cross-border trade, aviation finance and aviation headquarters. In doing so, it is committed to driving the shift of Shuangliu from an aviation hub to an economic engine. The goal is to build a highland of aviation economy that gives a strong boost to opening-up, has well-established airworthiness industries, and enables the consumption of international fashion.

In June 2021, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, the second airport in the city, officially went into operation. Facing this historic opportunity, Shuangliu proactively drives the “integration of two airports” and pursues a turnaround, in an effort to strengthen its role as an international airport hub on an ongoing basis.
