川西民居经历了漫长的发展历程，自成一家，成为相对独立的民居建筑样式，是中国民居中的瑰宝。一个名叫李定根的人，用了近30年的时间，完成了一项壮举——复活了一片川西古建筑群。
这个名为“汉轩民俗艺术博物馆”的川西四合院原本位于都江堰，是一座建于清道光二十六年的老建筑，曾被省市文物部门认定为成都平原唯一一座完整的明清四合院。2008年大地震后，李定根将其购下，整体拆卸运到双流。他从全国各地聘请古建筑修复工匠，按照手绘布局，开始重新组装。终于屋瓦层叠，历史再现。四合院庭门由对开18扇镂花门窗组成，六面荷、六面松、六面花，极其精美。繁复的窗格和雕花，古朴的柱础与抱鼓石，精巧的穿斗，迂回的檐廊联系各个房间，夹植松柏翠竹，院中还有一泓清澈的池塘。一座从广元迁来的走马转角楼静静地立在一旁。(www.xing528.com)

博物馆里还陈列着四百多件文物，从汉代陶俑、画像砖、木版画到农耕农具、名人信札等等。老物件安静地躺在橱窗里，待人去发现它们的故事。现在这里已经是成都的一处历史文化坐标，走进这里好似走进一个并不久远的梦，旧时光的生活质感扑面而来。
The Hanxuan Folk Art Museum is a west Sichuan-style siheyuan（courtyard house） relocated here from Dujiangyan. A fter the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, Li Dinggen bought this house, moved it to Shuangliu in disassembled parts, and then reassembled it. The entrance of the house consists of 18 bi-parting w indowed door leaves exquisitely engraved w ith lotus, pine and f lower, each featuring six leaves. The house boasts intricate w indow panes and carved patterns, simple ancient-style colum n bases and drum-shaped stones, ingenious colum n-and-tie structures, devious galleries w ith eaves connecting the room s, pines, cypresses and bamboos lining in between spaces, and a limpid pond in the courtyard. A cursory corner（zouma zhuanjiao） building moved here from Guangyuan stands quietly aside.
In addition, the museum displays more than 400 artifacts from Han pottery f igurines, portrait bricks and woodblock prints tofarm ing tools and letters w ritten by celebrities.
