In answer to your advertisement in today’s Guangzhou Daily for a tutor to teach your daughter mathematics and Chinese, I wish to tender my services.
I am twenty-one years of age and female.I am presently attending Guangzhou Teachers College for a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.Now I am in the third year.Last year I won the second place in the mathematics contest of college students of Guangdong Province.Since Chinese is my native language, I am also able to teach Chinese.In my freshman’s and sophomore’s year, I was a tutor for a child of a Thai diplomat who was quite satisfied with my teaching.There will be no language obstacle between your daughter and me since I have passed the College English Test-Band 6.
I would be glad to provide any additional information about me that you may need.If you think favorably of my application, I would like to have an interview.I am free to come any week day afternoon.If my application were to be successful, I should require a pay of$5 per hour.I hope that will be acceptable to you.
